2:3 “How to use a Green Screen for DIY Law Firm Videos”

Hey Lawyers this is a 3 part series and Today’s topic is “How to use a Green Screen for DIY Law Firm Videos.”

Thank you for joining me. I know your time is super valuable and hopefully this content is making your firm worth more and more to you and your clients. Being a lawyer is hard enough but you also have to be a very smart entrepreneur!

In this episode, you’ll learn about creative ways I’ve developed to use a green screen for law firm videos which always looks beautiful and well produced – and like you’re in a posh new office, your office is staged and the same every time, or you’re in a modern courtroom.

The last episode was all about Camera shopping. And the final episode in this series will be how to beautify with lighting literally taking years off your appearance.

For those of you who want video but have no interest in filming, you may want to try Artificial Intelligence video! You can go back and look at my series or reach out to me Mary@GoMediaMarketing.com and get started!

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE VIDEO SERIES:

PERSONAL MOMENT
I’m super happy that you are reaching out to me and want to work together on your various projects. I also appreciate everyone who has bought an online course or my Handbook: “How to Grow a Car Accident Law Firm” this is how I’m able to continue with this content.

WHAT IS A GREEN SCREEN?

A green screen is a background that is a wild green color. We make sure no one is wearing that color because everything in that color is removed in post production. The area where the green is, becomes clear. We insert an image or video where the green was in post production.

HOW A GREEN SCREEN SAVES YOU MONEY

A green screen saves money (and time) especially when you can leave it set up. But even when you can’t leave it set up, you can create a background that looks clean and professional and always looks the same. This saves so much time, talent and effort when you’re getting ready to film.

HOW TO MAKE A GREEN SCREEN LOOK PROFESSIONAL

For my lawyers, I love creating you a custom office space in Photoshop. For my client pal Mike I created him a faux office. Of course this office doesn’t exist in real life. I put his logo on the wall and slightly blur the background so it looks film-like.

Mike has a really nice office in reality! He says occasionally someone coming to his office will say that it doesn’t look like the same office.

Another way I use a green screen is to clean and stage your office! Make your office just how you like it, and then take images we can use later in post production. Then we shoot on a green screen and use the clean well lit staged images.

Because otherwise you’d have to clean and light your background every time you shoot.

DRAWBACKS TO A GREEN SCREEN

Green screens are hard, they have to be lit just right or it doesn’t work. Your on-screen talent needs great lighting too and I’m going to talk about that in the next video in this series. The on screen talent won’t like themselves on camera if the lighting is wrong in any way at all. There is a LOT to look for. And if your lighting is already great you won’t have to think about getting a bad shot.

In the next video, episode three is “How to Beautify with Law Firm Video Lighting”!
