What comes up is usually ads these are now dubbed LSA ads (Local Service Ads).
Next you’ll get Google Maps. Getting into the Google Maps 3-Pack, also known as the Local 3-Pack or Snack Pack, is crucial for local businesses as it prominently displays three local businesses related to a user’s search query.
Here are three top strategies to improve your chances of appearing in the Google Maps 3-Pack:
1) Optimize Google My Business (GMB) Listing:
Google My Business: Ensure that your business is listed on Google My Business, and claim and verify your listing. Provide accurate and up-to-date information about your business, including name, address, phone number, business hours, and categories.
Complete your profile: Fill out all the relevant sections of your GMB profile, including a compelling business description, services offered, and high-quality photos. Make sure your business information is consistent across all platforms.
2) Local Optimization:
Optimize your Listing: Include relevant keywords in your business description, services, and posts. Use keywords that potential customers are likely to use when searching for businesses like yours.
Consistency: Ensure that your business’s name, address, and phone number are consistent across all online platforms, including your website, social media profiles, and local directories.
Consistency helps Google trust the accuracy of your business information.
Local Citations: Build local citations by getting your business listed in online directories, industry-specific websites, and local business associations. Consistent citations help improve your local search visibility.
3) Customer Reviews and Ratings:
Encourage customer reviews: Positive reviews can have a significant impact on your local search ranking. Encourage satisfied customers to leave reviews on your Google My Business profile.
Respond to reviews, both positive and negative, to show that you value customer feedback.
High ratings: Maintain a high average rating. Businesses with positive ratings are more likely to be featured in the 3-Pack. Address any negative feedback constructively and promptly.
Finally remember that the algorithm determining the Google Maps 3-Pack rankings is complex and considers various factors. While these strategies can improve your local search visibility, results may vary based on competition, location, and practice area.
