“4 Tips How Law Firms Get Better Settlements with Video”

Hi Lawyers. Today I’m sharing the top 4 tips on how law firms get better settlements with video.

Starring (drum roll please) A.I. Miss Piggy as my beautiful lawyer in our social media posts this week! Thank you to my assistant MaryMae for the fun social media posts.

But before we jump right in, a personal thank you…

Thank you all you beautiful wonderful attorneys! I am honored when you reach out to me to share your ideas and whims (whether we work together or don’t find a fit)! It’s really nice :)…

We’re also a smallish agency and have been deep in this “space” … niche… whatever you want to call it — for a lifetime.

We do everything to grow and streamline practices and have ideas you may have never imagined that have worked for firms across the United States.

We’re selective about who we spend time working with (like most of you) … this is our passion … and by the way, my small happy team understands you, and loves helping you.

REQUEST FOR READERS: Go to the website and click the video!

Why? We get about 3000 email opens/reads weekly and 20 video views. When you watch the video (even with the sound off), and read the content on my website, we get better SEO. Please chip in!

And now… back to your regularly scheduled tip…

Hey it’s Mary Cary again your legal marketing director, all around creative marketing wizard, website developer and video production expert. This is just a reminder… use video –  use video – use video! Even if you’re not hiring us … use video.

There’s nothing more frustrating than having to settle for a low-ball payout for your client when you know what they’ve been through and what their case is worth.

There are several ways that a law firm can use video to support a personal injury case and potentially improve the settlement outcome. Here are a few examples:

Record the accident scene: If possible, the law firm can record the accident scene with a video camera or smartphone. This can provide valuable visual evidence of the conditions at the time of the accident, including the location and position of the vehicles, any skid marks or other physical damage, and any hazards that may have contributed to the accident.

Record the injury victim’s condition: The law firm can also record the injury victim’s condition at various points in time, such as shortly after the accident, during recovery, and after the injury has fully healed. This can help to document the extent of the injuries and the impact they have had on the victim’s daily life.

Use video to illustrate the victim’s testimony: In some cases, the victim may be unable to testify in person due to the severity of their injuries. In these cases, the law firm can use video to allow the victim to provide their testimony remotely. This can be particularly effective if the victim is able to demonstrate their injuries or physical limitations on camera.

Use video to show the impact of the accident on the victim’s daily life (called “Day in the Life” videos): The law firm can also use video to show the impact that the accident has had on the victim’s daily life, such as their ability to perform household tasks, participate in recreational activities, or work. This can help to convey the full extent of the damages suffered by the victim and support a higher settlement.

It is important to note that video evidence should be used in conjunction with other types of evidence, such as witness testimony and medical records, in order to build a strong case for settlement.
