“5 Tips How Can Google Maps Get Law Firm Clients”

Hi Lawyers. Today I’m sharing 5 tips how Google Maps can get law firm clients. But first a little message from our “sponsor”…

Oh… (looks around) I’m the sponsor!

If you don’t know yet, we’re a marketing agency who loves to work with mainly Plaintiff’s lawyers. There… that was todays sponsored message. On with the show…

Hey it’s Mary Cary again your legal marketing director, website developer and video production expert.

Google Maps dominates the 3 “Organic” search positions for your practice area. That’s right, only 3 law firms can attain that position. I noticed in bigger cities like Los Angeles, they do rotate the top 3 law firms. In any event, these days you need to pay attention to your Google My Business maps listing.

There are several ways that a law firm can use Google Maps to attract new clients:

  1. Claim your business listing on Google My Business: By claiming your business listing, you can ensure that your law firm’s information is accurate and up-to-date on Google Maps. You can also add photos, a business description, and your business hours. This can help attract potential clients who are searching for a law firm in your area.
  2. Encourage your clients to leave reviews: Positive reviews from satisfied clients can help attract new clients to your law firm. Encourage your clients to leave reviews on your Google My Business listing, as well as other review sites like Yelp and Avvo.
  3. Optimize your website for local SEO: Make sure that your website is optimized for local SEO by including your law firm’s name, address, and phone number (NAP) on every page, as well as in the header and footer. You should also include your NAP in the metadata for each page. This will help Google understand that your website is relevant to people searching for a law firm in your area.
  4. Use targeted keywords in your website’s content: Use targeted keywords in your website’s content that are relevant to your law firm and the services you offer. This will help your website rank higher in search results for those keywords, making it more likely that potential clients will find your website when they are searching for a law firm online.
  5. Advertise on Google Maps: You can also advertise your law firm on Google Maps through Google Ads. This can help drive more traffic to your website and increase the visibility of your law firm to potential clients.

BONUS TIP: Chat with Clients: And these days, in certain geographical areas, Google Maps allows us to chat with potential clients which works to bring in new clients every day for our law firms.
