Should you have an in house video studio? I’m sharing the pros today. And in the last video tip, I shared all the things I have personally seen go wrong. In case you missed the first part here is the link:
I’ve filmed thousands of law firm videos and built hundreds of studios in law firms. In my last video I shared all the things that go wrong when you put together an in house video studio. I know because I’ve come to film with you subsequent times, and personally seen those things happen.
TOP WAYS TO MAKE YOUR OWN VIDEO STUDIO WORK FOR YOU
STORY: Sometimes it works out fabulously! You could be like my Indiana friends at who built a studio, left it setup and filmed one Saturday every month for a year. I love those guys so much!
We wrote the scripts here in California based on keyword research. I directed their shoots remotely which was super fun! They outsourced the post production to us for a time.
Then one day ***sigh*** they flew solo. Like all good moms who raise successful human beings, with great pride I tell you this success story for my law firm friends.
In one year, we filmed 144 videos for YouTube and search optimized the scripts to their web pages for Google Search. The videos were optimized for YouTube.
This was early on, there are quicker or different “ways to the barn” now. But It was a lot of fun – and a huge success story.
YOUR TAKE AWAY:
Whatever you have in mind, make sure you have a strategy before you start filming. Youtube & Google SEO natural search can be slow or even nonexistent now for meeting clients. So start knowing the current landscape with an up-to-date strategy for your videos:
- Leave the studio setup
- Film once a month
- Film a lot of videos at one time
- Write scripts ahead of time
- If you want results in YouTube search optimize the videos
My Indiana friends did a whole lot of other brilliant things to grow their now hugely successful practice area.
My favorite (when it comes to my own work) is when we work hand in hand with a goal in mind, and that goal is attained.
