P2 of 3: “How to use Facebook Ads for clients who need Follow Up :]”

Hi Lawyers! I’m so so glad you’re joining me today! I hope your week has been a joy and success for you and your clients.

You lawyers are opening and reading my emails from across the globe. And so far, this Facebook Ads series has been the most popular subject. Each week, more of you join me in this journey together.

My heart is huge because I want you to reach more clients, more people to know what you do, and especially so people know what they’re up against.

In short, I want you out there educating people on Facebook in your practice area. Most people do not understand and I’ve learned so much working with you.

If you’re a reader, (which most of you are…) I want to share that today’s valuable tip content is better taken in as video.

Put in your earbuds (if you might disturb someone around you) and watch.

So this is the 2nd in a 3 part series about “How to meet clients on Facebook” and this is “How to Sign Clients on Facebook who need Follow Up :]”.

If you missed part 1 go to this link:

Today I’m sharing a complex strategy for creating automated follow up content both on Facebook and via email.

This is my favorite way to meet new ideal law firm clients for many practice areas. It’s not easy work.

When marketing most practice areas, your ideal clients will need a good amount follow up content.

But first, I’m again offering my one of a kind Masterclass and today’s coupon code MeetClients2. Please kindly excuse my “selling” moment before today’s tip but you may want to hop in before your competition gets started.

What’s in This 3 Part Series?

  • The first post was Facebook Ad Strategy when they’re feeling urgent and ready to sign
  • This post is Facebook Ad Strategy for following up (for those on the fence) and it’s better watched on today’s video
  • Next up will be Facebook Ad Video Strategy because all video doesn’t work

In the last video I outlined what I call “Strategy One”, How to sign clients who are aware they need a lawyer and their matter is urgent. Last week we addressed folks that are NOT on the fence.

And fair warning, when your ideal potential clients are not on the fence, the strategy is cheaper, easier to carry out, takes less time and it’s less complicated than Strategy 2 which I outline here today.

Today’s Strategy is about how to get in front of those with ideal cases who are on the fence and need lots of follow up.

What will you get Today?

You’ll understand a method for meeting new clients with Facebook Ads and email follow up that works for most practice areas.

With most practice areas, your clients will need educating and help off the fence in order to hire you. There’s a lot they don’t know about what you do.

And the good news is that while you have to create a lot of follow up content, all your expertise becomes the most powerful content for bringing in new ideal clients.

Not all video content works to bring in clients on Facebook. I’ll talk about video content in Part 3 next week.

Facebook Ads Follow Up :] Strategy

So what’s Strategy 2, “How to Sign Clients on Facebook who need Follow Up :]”?

And why do I keep adding this symbol :] – to the end of the word “up”?

I am a musician… and in music that’s a repeat sign. We use it when you want to repeat the chorus or a verse.

And when I say follow up, you should repeat the follow up process at least 17 times. If that feels daunting, you’re right!

Yes, it is a lot of work to create 17 different follow up ads and emails.

Think of it this way, you are creating digital assets that will work for your law firm for years to come.

And once you get everything in place it can run pretty seamlessly because you’ll want to use as much automation as is available today.

Strategy for Potential Clients on the Fence:

We are in the process of doing this every day for law firms like yours. (and if you need help or coaching let us know)…

1) Write an eBook – You’ll want to write an eBook titled something like “The top 10 reasons experience matters when hiring (insert practice area)”. This will be offered in exchange for contact info.

2) Film an Initial Video and Follow up Videos – From there, you’ll film using the content from your eBook. Break it into at least 17 follow up videos.

3) Create Your Initial Facebook video ad and Follow up Video Ads – Your ads will offer the free eBook in exchange for their phone number and email address.

Follow up ads go to those who clicked on one of your video ads and watched it. (Once set up this is practically automated)

4) Email Them Your eBook – (Automate this)

5) Call Potential Clients Right Away – When you ask for their contact information, call them! Most will “ghost” you and you’ll leave a message (which is ok).

Make sure you run the ads 24/7. Have someone ready to respond even if it’s you. (This isn’t automated)

6) Automated Follow Up 2 Ways – You’ll follow up with them via automated email. And follow up with new Facebook video ads sent only to those who watch your videos.

Expect these six steps to take you some time, talent and effort!

And we’re here to help coach you through if you need 1:1 help.

Final thoughts – do it if you want new clients.

In the next post I’ll talk about what video content works best for Facebook ads for either of the strategies outlined in this series.

With the wrong content, this doesn’t work. So in order to keep you on track I’ll talk about video content next week.

(Apologies for one more sales moment … but this is such a cool Masterclass….) I’m super proud of this class, and I know it will help you:

For a 3 days only I’m offering 10 discount codes for 40% off my step by step online course walkthrough of the complex Facebook interface.

Put in MeetClients2 at checkout.

In this Masterclass I create very automated campaigns that work for practice areas where they’re ready to sign (like Social Security Disability benefits when they’ve been denied), and for those on the fence (like personal injury where they think their insurance company has their back one hundred percent).

In three days, (depending on where you are)… or when the 10 codes run out (whichever comes first), this unique course will automatically go back to full price (because I love automation and parenthesis) so get yours now (before it turns itself off).
