I have filmed thousands of law firm videos for just about every imaginable platform; most of them were marketing videos!

Zero Dollars? Really?

I love video. But most people would love to spend zero dollars! So can you get clients with a low-fi iPhone video and no budget?

First, I prefer you have professional video, it doesn’t have to be expensive but it should be pro. I’m not guaranteeing results here but it has worked before!

So let’s look closer. Let’s pretend that you only have your iphone and you want to produce a video that gets clients for years to come and you have zero budget? What would I do as a video director and professional law firm marketer?

Think About Your Content First

First I’d think about your content. We’d create it for your ideal client. Not just any client. I’d tell them what the video is going to be about, empathize and answer the top questions they ask. I’d be sure the camera was close to you and it sounds clear. The iphone has great sound if you’re close enough to the iPhone.

Wardrobe and Search Optimization
I’d make sure you look crisp and professional and your background is clean. Next I’d name the files with your practice area and geographic location and upload it to YouTube.

Post on Free Facebook Regularly

Then I’d post the link on your Facebook regularly and email it with new content weekly to anyone who might be able to get you a new client.
Of course having a budget is better but this is one way to go. I wouldn’t expect clients to come pouring in, actually paying to get your videos in front of someone would be better!
Remember marketing isn’t about you, it’s about helping those who need you!
