You might have a fancy website company working for you — maybe doing some marketing, and wonder if your website can be better optimized! How can you tell? Can you get better results by hiring a company to “SEO” your website? I’m going to show you today how to see how well your website is optimized.

HOW TO KNOW IF YOUR WEBSITE IS OPTIMIZED

First go to Google and put in the keywords that describe your practice area using your location… like “Sacramento personal injury lawyer” and see if you come up.

Now a days the maps listing will come up. This is called the maps three pack. And in order to search optimize your website you need to be sure you’re in the maps listing. On the first page of Google you’re generally get Ads, the Map and then at the bottom usually you’ll get listing sites like Findlaw or AVVO.

Most of my lawyer friends do not report getting clients from being listed on those sites.

So put in a search look to see where you are, and make sure to fully utilize your maps listing with anything Google offers so that you’ll be in the three pack!

Remember marketing isn’t about you, it’s about helping those who need you!
